Our Founding Enhanced Members

We like to think of ourselves as “One company for all your building and property maintenance”. We are a family run business founded in 1984 as an electrical contractor by 3 directors all of whom are still active within the business. Since then we have added knowledge and depth to the company with a building and mechanical department able to deal with small repairs to complete house builds. Covering the whole of East Sussex including Hastings, Bexhill, St Leonards-on-Sea, Rye, Battle, Eastbourne and also Ashford (Kent). We offer a comprehensive range of building and property maintenance cover to give you complete peace of mind.

We are a leading East Sussex law firm with in-depth local knowledge, around 100 people, and five offices along the south coast – Battle, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Hastings and Rye – providing a wide range of legal help and advice to private individuals, families and businesses.

We’ve been serving the people of East Sussex for around 250 years and can trace our history back to the firms of Raper & Fovargue in Battle and Dawes Son & Prentice in Rye in the mid 18th Century. There has been a lot of change and growth since then but we are still firmly rooted in the local community, combining legal excellence with a highly personalised service – for local people and businesses. Although constantly improving our use of technology to provide the most effective legal service, we still take the time and care to build one-to-one relationships with clients – a traditional way of working that’s fast disappearing in many law firms.

Lightning Fibre are still busy rolling out full fibre broadband across Hastings and St Leonards, and they do already have quite a few happy customers in the area. They are also the ‘local network’ and very proud to support their local community – including our amazing hospital.
