We are delighted to announce that funding has been secured for the implementation of in-situ slings in our Acute Therapy department.
These slings help patients to be safely moved from bed to chair, this process can be particularly challenging for patients with limited mobility, pain, behavioral concerns, or fragile skin, often resulting in the slings being left under the patient while seated, increasing the risk of bed sores. The introduction of in-situ slings will significantly reduce this risk, enhancing patient comfort and safety.
