Volunteering

Our volunteers operate a Flower Shop and General Store in the Hospital Foyer as well as a Shopping Trolley Service for patients unable to leave their beds and for busy staff who can’t leave their station.

The shopping trolley is often operated by two volunteers at a time and this may suit couples.

We’ve also launched an online shopping service so that comfort essentials and gifts can be bought from anywhere and delivered by volunteers directly to the bedside.

We also have volunteers who can be seen around the hospital ground picking litter, helping keep the carparks and outdoor areas tidy as well a gardening group who work on planting, weeding and maintaining the 21 courtyards throughout the hospital.

Visit the Conquest 21 project page to read more about our exciting restoration and redesign plans.

Volunteers can work as few or as many hours that suits and we do our best to work around the timings that suit you.
