The Friends of Conquest Hospital have officially launched a major campaign to raise £101,000 for vital, life-changing medical equipment, and we need you!
Standard NHS budgets cover the essentials, but our goal is to provide the cutting-edge kit that takes local patient care to the next level. Every penny raised stays right here at the Conquest Hospital.
What your donation will help buy:
12 Special Care Cots:
When a baby arrives a little earlier than planned or needs extra medical attention, they spend their first days or weeks in our Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). Up to 34 babies need this extra care and support each month.
30 Cardiac Monitors:
Imagine needing an vital heart test, but instead of spending days confined to a hospital bed, you could do it while making a cup of tea in your own kitchen or walking the dog. That is exactly what a Holter Monitor does.
A Maternity Resuscitaire:
Each year around 400 babies are born at the Conquest Hospital. As soon as they arrive this vital equipment allows the healthcare professionals carry out critical monitoring and, if needed, life saving care.
