Today, we proudly recognise and honour the dedication, courage, and service of our Armed Forces community—both past and present.
At Conquest Hospital, we are fortunate to work alongside many ex-service personnel. Their skills, experience, and unwavering commitment continue to make a meaningful difference across our teams and in the care we provide every day.
We also acknowledge the wider impact of service life, including the vital role played by families. Lisa, our Admin Manager, has a close connection through her partner, who served in the Armed Forces for 25 years. Lisa has also supported the Armed Forces community through her volunteering with the Armed Forces Welfare, helping families adjust to new postings by running children’s clubs and parent-toddler groups, and contributing to the development of strong, supportive communities.
In addition, Lisa was a member of the Military Wives Choir, where she used music to connect with others who shared similar experiences and to support the wellbeing of the Armed Forces community.
On Armed Forces Day, we extend our sincere thanks to all who serve, have served, and to the families whose ongoing support makes that service possible.
