Want to make a real difference at Conquest Hospital? We’d love to have you join our team.

Our incredible volunteers help run the Gift & Flower Shop and General Store right in the hospital foyer. As well as providing a vital service for the hospital community, our shops generate important funding that provides the foundation for the Friends.

Our volunteers also bring joy (and essentials!) to patients and staff through our Shopping Trolley Service—perfect for those who can’t leave their beds or busy staff tied to their stations. It’s a great way to get your steps in too—visiting all the wards and departments takes around three hours!

Our Knitting Volunteers make gorgeous knitted items that provide a variety of essential items for the wards and make beautiful gifts available to purchase from our gift shop – all made with love.

Not sure you can commit regularly? No problem! Join our Events Team or become a Fundraising Volunteer and help out with fun activities and fundraising events when you can. Whether it’s setting up, running stalls, or just lending a hand on the day, we’re grateful for every bit of help.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to learn new skills or share skills making good friends along the way.

We’re super flexible—volunteer as little or as much as suits you. We’ll do our best to fit around your schedule.

All new volunteers go through the volunteering process and will need a DBS check—but don’t worry, its really simple and we’ll guide you through it.
