For a long time, Pat* was stuck. After weeks in a hospital bed, the walls started to feel like they were closing in. While Pat’s physical symptoms were slowly stabilising, their mental health was taking a hit. When you can’t sit up to eat or even see out the window, it’s easy to lose sight of the possibility of recovery.
