Winter Courtyard

Following the incredible success of last year’s Winter Courtyard, we’re delighted to be opening the space once again for the festive season.

From Wednesday 2nd December, patients, visitors, staff and members of the public are invited to visit our Winter Courtyard on Level 1 between Murray and Macdonald ward and enjoy a peaceful festive space within the hospital.

Last year’s courtyard welcomed hundreds of visitors who came to enjoy the twinkling lights, Christmas trees and opportunity to pause, reflect and connect with others. Thanks to the wonderful support we received, we’re excited to bring the Winter Courtyard back for another year.

Visitors can collect a free bauble plaque from the Friends Shop, write a dedication to someone special, and hang it on the community tree. Whether you’re remembering a loved one, thanking someone who has made a difference, or sharing a festive message, everyone is welcome to take part.

The Winter Courtyard is open to all, providing a warm and welcoming space throughout the Christmas period.
