Our incredible Knitting Volunteers provide comfort across every corner of Conquest Hospital. From tiny, delicate clothes for our newest arrivals in the maternity ward to cozy blankets that bring warmth to our patients, their work is a true labour of love.
But it’s not just about warmth; it’s about specialised care too! Our team creates:
🧩 Fidget Muffs: Providing essential sensory stimulation for patients living with dementia.
🤱 Knitted Boobies: A vital (and brilliant!) teaching tool to help new mums learn the art of breastfeeding.
🛌 Bed Runners: Adding a touch of home to the hospital bedside for patients with dementia
