Grant Applications
The Friends invite applications for grants from frontline staff working at Conquest Hospital, for the benefit of the hospitals patients and staff.
We’re proud to have developed a robust application process that ensures that all applications are for equipment that is fit for purpose and fully considered against the Trust’s plans both short and long term. The process also ensures that staff are fully trained to use the new equipment and that any operational running costs, for example software updates and maintenance costs, can be covered by the NHS.
Applications are normally considered by the Friends Trustees who meet monthly. If the application is for more than £250 the applicant will normally be invited to the meeting to present and discuss their request. A decision is normally made on the day of the meeting.
The application process also requires a six-month report on the impact the new equipment has had on patient care, or staff and visitor experience or well-being.
All applications are manged by the NHS team initially – an application form can be requested by email at any time.
