Do you know a school that may want to take part in our Friendship Dress up Day, raising funds for vital hospital equipment. The event can take place on a day which suits your school calendar, which we know are always very busy!!

How it works:

Pupils are invited to dress up in pairs or groups to celebrate the joy of friendship – from dynamic duos like Mario and Luigi, to group themes like fairy-tale characters, sports teams or even colours of the rainbow. A suggested £1 donation per child will go directly towards the charity. Every participant will receive a sticker to mark their involvement.

How it works:

Schools can choose from a range of options, such as a laps challenge (running around the field or playground), creating a fun obstacle course or even organising a colour run.

Whatever event you choose our School Liaison Officer would be happy to help organise the event alongside the school.

Our aim is to create a fundraiser where children can set achievable goals, helping to build confidence and develop a love of being active. Above all, we want the children to have fun and know that every step taken, and every penny raised will make a real difference in their community.

We are delighted to be working with 1066 bakery, who have kindly donated gingerbread friends for schools to sell as an optional extra during the day of their fundraiser.

Our Schools Programme offers a wonderful opportunity to:

  • Promote creativity
  • Celebrate community and friendship
  • To teach young people the importance in giving back

If your school or you know of a school that would like to take part during this academic year, please confirm your involvement, with your chosen date before October half term.
